Boredom + Underestimation
Having finished completing and reviewing my study-packets for the upcoming quiz, I decided to take a break and surf the web. I visited all the usual sites (digg, facebook, redorbit, smbc, xkcd, pictures for sad children, oddly specific, etc) and then, I suddenly lost interest. Yes, I don’t know how it happened, but I lost interest in the Internet.

Fluorescent Smoke In a Glass Jar

FREEZING
Miami temperatures have dropped to a record-breaking 55 degrees here. As a result, the doctors are coming in wearing winter coats and are shivering up a storm. Today, one asked us, trembling, “Aren’t you freezing?”
The majority of us who are from California evenly replied, “Nope.”

Rest in Peace, Grandma
Grandma passed away at around 3:00am this morning. Since mom and I had requested she be placed on a morphine drip, we’re hoping that she passed without much pain. Mom said that grandma looked like she was sleeping. I’ve returned to Miami so unfortunately I won’t be able to attend her funeral.

Yesterday, dad, obaachan (my paternal grandma), and I visited grandma (my maternal grandmother) at the hospital. She was lucid and laughing and enjoyed the red tulips we brought her very much.
